CityScape phpLD template is a great looking template which comes from AtlantaDirectory. It’s nice, clean and crisp and if not for all niches, atleast it’s perfect for the real estate niche or regional directory.
The CityScape phpLD Template comes for phpLD version 3.2.0 only. It is based on the same design that is used on Atlanta Directory itself. Pretty good template there for sure. 
What’s more, this template comes in two varieties. One in which the “Latest Featured Links” are shown in the left sidebar, and other wherein the “Latest Articles” are shown in the left sidebar. In right sidebar you will have most popular categories in both the version. To add further, you still have lots of space to add more mods and stats etc in your sidebars and make the template look even better

Exclusion Template is a creation of Syed Balkhi, the owner of idk.in web directory. According to him, he named this template as “Exclusion” as this word, signifies “Exclude your site from the rest. Make it special”.
The template comes with a matching wordpress theme which nowadays are necessary for the serious directory owners who want to have a little extra on their directory like a blog, etc. rather than just the directory.
This template is W3 Valid in both forms Xhtml and Css.
Well, this template has many many features. Right from the details page, to the submit page, this template has it all. The template also has two mods, one named “META Tags on any page” and other the typical “StatisticMod”. You can check the details on the features either on idk.in’s blog or better have a look at the demo as “picture speaks louder than words”

We use to have “Most Visited Listings” and “Newly Added Listings” by default in both paid and free version of phpLD. We definitely needed some addition of things in the deault phpLD script. What better can be some addition of new mods specially if this type called “Latest Visited Sites Mod”
Alright, what does it do? Well, just like “Top Links” and “New Links”, this mod will let you display all those listings, which have been recently visited by your directory visitors or browsers. This is a pretty interesting mod for sure.
You can view it live in action on “Recently Visited Sites” on DirectHoo .
This is a free mod. However, it is available in support section of phpLD Forums only. And if you’re not yet a member with the support forum, you cannot access the below thread where the codes are written.

Ally Rock PHPLD Template comes from Ally Web Directory. Ally Web Directory is a general premium paid web directory which offer lot of themes and templates for phpLinkBid, PhpLinkDirectory and even wordpress and site-sift templates. Certainly one of the best directories on net.
Ally Rock is a wonderful phpLinkDirectory template. It’s pretty clean and green and has all the looks for a wondeful, neat and clean business directory. The header image itself speaks a lot for this template. Consider it as a journal, a diray or an index. This template is perfect.
The header image, we have already talked about. It’s Cool. The menu bar links are pretty nicely designed and pretty visible, compared to most of the templates out there. The categories are easily readable and pretty compact. We have the sidebar as well. Ofcourse all your sponsor links, advertisers, or even ads publishers like adsense or yahoo can go in there. A pretty good phpLD template for sure.

Come on lazy directory owners. All those who still haven’t started working on details page in their directories, i would suggest that you switch over to templement template for your phpLD powered directories. Syed Balkhi, himeself has done all the work for you guys, by making bsolutely wonderful and awesome looking detail page in this very template. So all you have to do is just upload the template, and you are ready to use it.
As mentioned, Templement template comes from Syed Balkhi productions. This template has the futuristic looks and the template name “Templement” is cool as well. What’s so special about this template is the looks of the overall template and the details page which has lot many features besides the normal alexa, msn screenshots and details of directory. We have custom buttons for great tools like SEOMOZ’s pagestrength, Google, Yahoo and Technorati backlinks for all your listings. That’s impressive.
The header has the pictorial kinda menu bar with some very stylish icons and very special logo. The sidebar is absolutely fantastic. However too much sponsor links (incase your directory has) would dampen the greatness of the template’s beauty. The category structure is one of the best i have seen in a long long time.! Well, even the footer looks cool in this template. Overall, a pretty impressive template and much recommended by PHPLD Templates
Again we have a bonus matching wordpress theme for your wordpress powered blogs in your directory.
