Shopping Spree PHPLD Template comes from Emillie Directory. It’s a beautiful template for sure. It’s just the perfect template for your shopping niche directories. The logo says it all. It even have a good space for your publisher ads or banners. So you can get the real feel of it and bring your directory to life.

The category structure is good. No sidebars, no other columns. Just one simple column. From top, the order goes like: Logo > Search Bar > Navigation Links > Ads Space > Categories > Footer. So the template is simple, neat and clean but more importantly, it’s highly suitable for shopping directories.

NutShell PHPLD Template For All Versions

NutShell phpLD Template is a creation of OSDesigner. It’s probably one of the most neat and clean themes i have ever seen. Not only that, it’s simple and pretty fast loading theme as well. Frankly, you will love this theme. So will your visitors.

The theme has various shades of brown which is very very pleasing to the eyes. The inner pages are very sober. Basically, an imageless template which looks very neat and clean and most importantly, it looks very professional. Template is Valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional! We would like to congratulate Shabu, the man behind this template, for his great work!

The template is available in most of the currently used phpLD versions. Package zip file contains the logo psd file and installation instructions. However, if you face any problems, you can reach Shabu at his site itself.

“Split Category Links” PHPLD Module

Split Category Link is a great mod for your phpLD directory. It’s great from SEO point of view besides improving the internal structure of your directory. Best part is that it’s free. All credit to DirectoryShare.

In their words : “Split up the category links on your details page and increase your internal linking structure. Normally if a user submits to the category “Business » Investing » Other”, the details page will display a single link back to that category. Install this mod and instead, your details page will generate a link for each sub category. One for “Business » Investing » Other”, one for “Business » Investing” and one for “Business”!”.

The mod has been developed for and tested on phpLD v3.1.0 and v3.2.0 .

MiddleEarth is a very good looking phpLD Template brought to you by Joomla SEO Directory. The template was designed keeping in mind the colors of the Earth and the Sea. But that doesn’t make it a environmental-friendly phpLD template.

Okay, so Middle  Earth phpLD Template has been designed for phpLD V3.2.0. The best part is that there is only one sponsor link in the template. No designer, no other formalities. Backlink to phpLD of course is there. Other than that, the template has some good features. It’s a three column template. In left column it shows up the statistics and the most popular categories. The center column of course have the categories and the third column features the latest featured links. Obviously you can add more mods and items in the sidebar with plenty of space leftover.

Upgrade For Our phpLD Directory Of Directories

PHPLD Templates was running a directory of directories since long, though it was a phpld 2.1 script. And we never felt like upgrading it. Probably we felt that David (phpld owner) would gift us a 3.x script for our on-house directory of directories, someday. Even if as a token of appreciation. But i guess it would never happen

Anyways, yes, we upgraded the directory to the 3.x version, today. Basically the directory was made with the purpose of including all directories running on phpLD. But i guess, that to most of the people, review price of $2.49 seems to be a lot and thus the lesser listings.

However we are thankful to few people who always make it to our directorie and help them populate, whether paid or free. Special thanks to guys like Chris Hoffman owner of most popular directory>> AliveDirectory, for his continuous support in all odds.
