It’s been a while since we were planning to launch our Green Shade phpLD template for version 2.1 (also available for phpLD version 3.06)
Sorry if i kept you waiting but the template is now officially launched.
Get the features of phpLD 3.06 in your 2.1 version directory. Great looks with icons navigation bar and glossy green buttons.

what font was used on the left panel buttons?

Thanks. I have two buttons with the same pic so i have to change one of them so that no difference will be discovered.

Ahh…I can see that in your directory Aurel.
Well a good example of how the buttons should look like can be seen on Ally Web Directory.
For changing the sidebar button, just convert the image into a psd and change the text into your desired text. The font used will be “Arial”.

Well, i don’t know how to convert from Gif to PSD. If you can tell me how, i would be thankful. I saw the Ally Directory and you’re right. Depending on what i will add to the directory i will change that navigation bar. Thanks for all your help.

By the way, i have made some changes on the template by adding wordwrap to urls (cause on long urls the page gets deformed) and replacement for & > or others in the link.tpl file (so that there won’t be no escape of any title link ike “Art & Passion”).

Well so far you have been doing excellent work. The image for “Top Rated” link looks equally good as the other buttons. So you are doing a fine job with the gif images.
However for making everyone’s life comfortable we will soon provide a psd for everyone. So that you can make an image at a click of a button.
wordwrap to url’s sounds a great idea
I think even i need to know how you did that. I will also like to have a check on the link details file. Coz i had to manually change each and every “and” to &. I think you have a better knowhow on how to do it! 
Just a heads up: Your Alexa Info on details page ain’t working!
I hope you are comfortable with the template and the flexibily it gives for putting up various mods
Also have a look at Free Web Directory. It really feels good seeing Green Shade on such wonderful directories.

i saw that alexa is not working but i didn’t figure it out
changes on link.tpl:
{$link.TITLE|escape|replace:’&’:'&’|trim}
{$link.DESCRIPTION|escape|replace:’&’:'&’|trim}
{$link.URL|wordwrap:50:”\n”:true} (after replace should be & … i saw that here is converted in &).

Currently, there is no wordpress theme for green shade but i guess it will soon be available. It’s nice idea and i will get working on it! Thanks

The problem with the alexa graph is not from the template code. Sometimes is loading and sometimes is not. And by the way, you could fix some of the code errors…they are a lot. I have fixed some of them on my directory…i will fix the others after a good break cause now i am tired and sleepy…it’s 23:49PM here

Well the social tools are available free of cost and is courtesy the owner of Not So Fresh wordpress theme
You can check out the theme here on Best Web Directories. On homepage you won’t find any social tool. You need to go to a sinle post and you will see all of them on one side. You can see the author link in the footer of that theme.
Also let me know what errors you found in the codes.! Help in any kind will be appreciated.

Error codes like missing “alt” or xhtml tags not closed (i mean instead of ) or using the & instead of &. Use the online validator from W3 to find out all of them.

Shahid, you can browse our site for hell lot of free templates. No one is going to send you free templates however, you can go thru the site, look at the screenshot and download all the templates you want.!
