Web1Directory launched it’s first ever phpLD Template. The template is named as PixelBlue phpLD Template. This template has been designed by our phpLD friends Futuristic Artists.
PixelBlue phpLD Template is a very elegant and beautiful template. Rich in graphics, this phpLD template have a lot to offer. 
Very nice logo to start with followed by a vertical navigation menu to the right. Both paced on a beatiful header. It’s a three column phpLDtemplate with first column reserved for sponsored links along with thumbnails and also other advertising options. The second column of this phpLD template is the category structure which is very very unique in design. I personally, haven’t seen a single such category structure elsewhere, and certainly it looks great and very stylish as well. The third column is the partner site links or the categories column. You can also adsense or other publisher ads. More concepts can be added in any sidebar as they have lot of space that can be utilized. This third column can however be easily removed as you will see in the demo for phpLD version 2.0 and 2.1.
The template certainly looks great and very much recommended. Personally i am myself using this template on my directory.
The best part is that PixelBlue phpLD template is available in all phpLD versions as on now such as 2.0, 2.1, 3.06 and 3.1. So this template can be used by all.

Here comes Futuristic Artists and they rock as usual. Futuristic Artsists have just released another great looking futuristic phpLD template. Named Brown Edge, this template is sure to mark its presence on many phpLD powered web directories out there. Reson being, firstly, the great design and secondly, this phpld template has been released for each and every phpld version there is. This is amazing
Brown Edge phpld Template looks stunning with each and every bit of it adding to it’s beauty. A very well designed logo to begin with and a simple search bar on the right. Then we have the pictorial navigation or menu bar. This is where all the fun begins. The buttons used in menu bar looks great. All buttons convey the meaning of the link itself, so very meaningful buttons i must say. Following it we have the left sidebar with premier sponsored sites and partner links which run sitewide and on it’s right we have a well designed and placed category structure box. Below these there are small boxes for premier sites which runs just on homepage. So great place for those wanting just a homepage link. Is it the end of template? No, not yet. Another striking feature is the small links just above the footer of the template. A great concept which even if thought of before haven’t been utilized in free phpld templates. We have a small featured navigation bar with Home, Link To Us (where you can include your banner or probably codes via which people can link to your site), Top Site, New Sites, Our Partners page (for those one page links for your partners), Advertise with us (for features and packages to advertise on your directory) and lastly a Contact us link. Don’t be surprised, but will actually be having Contact us and other items on phpLD 2.x versions as well. Keep wondering how.
The color combination couldn’t have been better. All milky white and very soothing to eyes.
This is a great template nonetheless and is already popular. Hope you’re not still thinking. It’s way to cool and not to be missed. Very much RECOMMENDED.

Our friends at BlogAboutMySite.com are out with their first ever phpld template in association with Inetzeal Manual Directory Submission Services. Well, looks like they are gonna have a wonderful future as their first template already rocks on many phpld directories.
Black Carotty phpLD template is an awesome looking template. As the name suggests, the template is all in Black and Carrot colors. The structure/layout of this phpld template is awesome as well. Editable logo. Two navigation menu bars. Brilliantly placed categories table and some space for sponsored links and premiere sponsored sites. Well the template has it all. An excellent template.
Black Carroty is the WOW template. Looking at this beautiful template, one can just say “WOW” or “COOL”. Really recommended. Go for it as it’s available in almost all versions.

With growing popularity of phpLD templates we have more and more phpLD templates designers coming up. But i guess, good talent and good templates never gets unnoticed. We, here at PHPLD Templates would like to welcome guys from BitExtra to phpLD templates world as they release their first ever free phpLD template. Good luck to BitExtra for future templates.
BitExtra phpld template is a very well designed template. The template has probably all theshades of light blue. The logo looks awesome. Ofcourse the logo.psd is available in the package for logo image manipulation. The search bar is wide and well placed to the right of logo. We then have a very good looking vertical navigation menu bar. To the right we have the category table with blue fonts and white background. We also have space for thumbnails and sponsored links on the homepage right near the footer. The template has all the good looks one needs. Beside that it is very neat and clean as well. So it’s a perfect start for BitExtra template designers. Good work!!!

It’s new year and time for much newer and much cooler designs from phpLD world of designers. The first free template of new year 2007 comes from Syed Balkhi. The magician is working hard on his designs and producing great looking phpld templates much more often now.
Blue Sort phpLD Template is a wonderful phpLD template. An elegant combination of blue grey and white. A well designed logo in white and blue backdrop. A unique navigation on right header with vertical buttons. That really looks cool. Very well placed search bar. We have another navigation bar that is very well placed and well integrated with the whole design. The category tables looks astonishing with white backdrop. This template works for phpLD version 3.0.6 and 3.1.0.
Another amazing feature of this template is that it shows the page rank of the listed sites by way of images which really looks great when you browse the inner pages. Here is what it looks like.
Wow! The Blue Sort phpLD Template looks awesome. Great start to the new year. All thanks to Syed Balkhi for such a beatiful template.
