Eggmen template is a very very simplistic template. Indeed, it gives your directory a very professional HTML based website look.
I think this template is good for beginners. There is a lot of space and scope for extra things you want to put on the directory rather than just some categories and latest links stuff. It’s all upto your imagination and hard work. You can make out a brilliant directory on this template alone.
From the looks of it, i think it’s good to go with two column for categories. Rest all is good.

Theme has been provided by TastyPlacement SEO & Web. Looks like just one footer link in the theme. All the more good reason for beginners to get this template.

Ebony-PC, well certainly a unique name for a phpLD Template, is a free template provided by DevHunters.com. It is a dark colored template with black in header and dark grey dominating most of the template. The template good. Different from many template though and that’s why probably it should look good on your directories. Specially on computer niche directories 
Anyways, the template has been tested on all the browsers and works fine! This phpLD template comes for only phpLD version 3.3. As usual, we recommend you o take backup before installing any new template/mods on your directory.

The new version of phpLinkDirectory was out recently! It numbered as phpLD 3.3.0
For everyone who has upgraded to the latest phpLD script 3.3.0, and who do not have a custom template of their own, i think they can use this template called “Dense phpLD template”
It’s a white and blue colored two column template which looks very professional indeed. With a left sidebar it is a very well designed template. The template is a creation of Zorg Web Directory, but even they credit DirectoryMix.com for the design structure. Yeh, the design looks very similar. Anyways, let’s have a look at the screenshot.
