CSS Template comes from Production house of Syed Balki. It’s a well thought of template. It’s proably one of the first XHTML valid template, released free for PHPLinkDirectory. WellCSS PHPLD Template, being XHTML valid, allows user to edit and make changes to the template, very easily and comfortably.
A very simple looking template. It’s more of SEO effective than attractive kind of template. So serious directory owners will most likely be using this one. A simple menu bar with nice hover effect. A clean category looks with a left sidebar. Stats and Search also being a part of the sidebar. But hey, Syed definitely cannot resist making dashing looking PR buttons. Another cool looking PR buttons, yet compratively very simple looking compared to his capabilities and creations. 
Much recommended for directory owners.

Strangely, this is the first time Syed Balkhi steps into 2.x version world of PHPLD. 
This is infact thefirst time he designed a template for version 2.1

As many of us know, PHPLinkDirectory launched the phpLinkDirectory version 3.2.0 on April 19th’2007. The script had many new features this time around.
David, owner of this wonderful script and his phpLD guys, launched the new version 3.2.0. , with immense pleasure. Incase you haven’t already heard about what David and his crew had to say, here it is…
We are pleased to announce the release of version 3.2.0.
In addition to many small fixes and improvements, here are some of the new additions:

Another absolutely delightful template from Syed Balkhi. Play Park is one of the best phpLD templates you ever saw from the production house of Syed Balkhi.
Not only the directory owners, but everyone visiting your directory will appreciate and love the looks. Even kids for that matter
Coming back to the template, Play Park has some kinda liveliness, freshness feel all over it. The logo is pretty good. The pictorial menu is damn cool. Perfectly sized images and well fitted icons. This is certainly better than many pictorial header templates out there. All credits to Syed Balkhi. We have a sidebar menu in this template. Left aligned….green and black color combo…perfect looks and even better placement. The categories are kinda cool. The icon for category heads is pretty nice and goes along with the template. Below the categories wqe have yet another pretty looking bar. It’s the statistic bar. Shows pretty useful stats and a ready to use and implement additional feature for your directory. What’s cool and unlike many others is that even the footer bar looks pretty good. Pagerank icon, again is a beauty. Looks like a shield though, but how descriptive

GDAT template, a production of Syed Balkhi, is a pretty cool looking darkish template. Syed Balkhi, a pretty good designer, has immense talent. Syed designs and codes phpLD templates as well as wordpress themes, just perfectly. Always recommended by us!
GDAT is a template in maroonish red and dark grey. The header has a pictorial menu, which always add the grace to the template. cons used have been carefully chosen and very descriptive themselves. The search bar is short and compact. The category structure is simple, clean and professional. No sidebar for sponsor or advertisers. So it’s damn good for those who do not wish to sell sponsor links, etc. However you can always make use of footer space if you wish to use this template besides giving links to sponsors and advertisers. The pagearnk icon style is amazing. Only Syed can do it in the best possible manner.
